The Warriors might actually pull this one off. Still, my money is on the Mavericks, even when they are down three to one. At my count, Oakland has more ex-UCLA players on its squad. That does not hurt my interest in the group. I missed the day today. No more daylight. I am a creature of the night. That also means, I am impervious to potentially destructive entities. And, I can no longer see my reflection in the mirror. Which has its upsides, but mostly that is one of the pitfalls to being a creature of the night. A soft symphony tuned to the epic of my underdeveloped life plays in the background. The moon fills the sky with enough light to momentarily forget about stupid days when the sun was thought of as fun. Despicable weaknesses like that are no longer acceptable. I could use some hash browns but I guess I have to settle on a bread on bread sandwich. |
