Get your butt to school and make something happen. I hope it will be good. I met with the scrappers who have been trying to hold this ship together. Keeping it from sinking in the last ten days or so has surely been no small feat. One stab at the overall composition of window three has been taken. When visiting the Prado, I saw a baroque frieze that immediately caught my attention. First, the detailing was stunning -especially when considered to the glass and steel crap I regularly am exposed to today. The way in which the characters in the frieze were integrated into the wall was particularly intriguing. I wish to incorporate this detailing into the design of our project. Though, I am not sure how a) to model it b) how to build it economically and c) how to design it. Unfortunately, the design has yet to clearly enter my mind. I guess the only way to go is fumble around in Maya until something interesting pops up. Additionally, some work has been done to the surface. Veins have been added to the design. <continued> |
