We are beginning to consider alternate techniques for digital production of these pieces. One, milling plastic after it has been formed. Two, heat gunning formed pieces for another layer of customization. Three, buckling and buckling the plastic. The third we tried on the flower project, and the results were not great. Four members of the team visited the Schindler house to check out the Gen(h)ome project. This was an interesting collection of digitally produced prints and fabrications. Of particular interest, the Servo “Spoorg” project. Super work, and it contains many similarities to our project. Soon, maybe more, as we are approaching new ideas to attach the surfaces to the window. Studio with Yi. Prior to design, we are touching up our research graphics and planning future agendas.
