Exhausted, but still kicking. Okay, the conversations this morning did not go as badly as I feared. That is a nice turnaround from last weeks chewing. I think the veins are not working as well in section/perspective as they do in elevation. That needs to be resolved. The double skin is not synced up. And the, connections are not totally synchronized. Last night, we also found some problems with some of the edge curves. The connection model was done in Rhinoceros. I am not a fan of this. So, I plan to move the modeling back into Maya -where it belongs! The problem here is, not many people in the group are comfortable modeling in Maya, particularly when there is a time crunch. I am starting to get a good feel for the program. I wish I knew much more about it, because there is so much I feel I am missing. I suppose with time and continued dedication to this software it will all come. <continued> |
