Another extended work session brings more delusions. I found it was very difficult to concentrate on the work and began to make many stupid mistakes. Many more than usual. Milling on crack is not safe. Fortunately, none of the errors are project threatening. So, all the components have been modeled and milling will be complete soon. Another note, finally, Madrid gets some time. I started working on modeling some options for housing prototypes. The quickest way to launch into formal investigation was with previously utilized typologies. In this case, it was the ribbon structure. My preference is to use Maya. The two partners are Rhinoceros addicts. Switching between the softwares is not overly difficult. Sometimes it can be frustrating. Trimmed surfaces and planar lofts are no joy. No go. The structure maximizes window surface area providing each tenant with fantastic views of their friendly neighbors frolicking in the surrounding meadows. <continued> |
