Back in the office in the early afternoon. The game of preparation of the three-dimensional print begins. Elizabeth models the southern stations, Aaron models the northern station and I model some squigglies, lines, check marks, towers, and anything else that typifies the Centro district of Madrid. Early evening now, load the print file into the machine. Goddamnit! Some people have taken advantage of us others and ran their prints too long. I know this print will not take the full six hours we have allotted. Also, I have pushed these printing schedules in the past, so I owe patience to the system. Next, start looking at some diagrams, or rather, render. Yum, render. Now this is something I know. First, crank down the camera view angle. The skewing looks better. Wait! The machine is open, and this guy is off to the printer. Exploded axonometric. Nine renderings from differing angles along the longitudinal section of the site. And with that, I suppose it is time to print and present. |
