Concentration shift, importance form or diagram? Why is it taking so long to get the right diagrams produced? I can see why this is not reflecting well on our group. The diagram: a simple representation of the most essentially basic design intentions. And, we cannot produce this drawing. We have yet to fully grasp our problems. It may have something to do with the percentage of my time I am able to dedicate to this project now. I feel I have to keep this one floating while I dock the other one. We do have some valid ideas. And, in the end, we will get a few ears. The general thrust of the project is to re-orientate the existing idea of centrality. This out-dated method of planning has reached its capacity. A critical juncture is at hand. Either, become cognizant of the problems on the horizon and plan accordingly, or continue utilizing thoughtless ad-hoc planning strategies that will inevitably lead to the failure of the city. A desire is present to be a a new global player and certainly an effective presence in Europe. <continued> |
