Can I say last minute? Absolutely. I have the walls designed. That last minute motivates me, forces me to make decisions and utilize a little intuition. We should know how well these pay off in about a week. Until then, there is another round of excessive milling to ride out. Almost five sheets of foam. That will probably be about three straight days of milling. It is definitely stepping up the intensity. The first project had one mold. This one something like forty. I cannot even count anymore. The solution to the wall design seemed so obvious, I am alarmed it did not strike me across the cheek earlier. I think it has been a major mistake to not have initiated this wall design earlier in the process. Well, it could prove to have been an error. Or, it could be evidence that I have learned something over the past year in terms of translating design from digital to physical models. So tonight, I have been in the shop with my laptop kicking some ass. <continued> |
