The sleep I had the other night after dinner will have been the last before Friday night. Bad news. First, work will not be as efficient as it needs to be. Second, company will be pissed. But those are stories for another day. In the mean time, rock out on some of the final steps of preparation before we move to the site work. At least, that is what I need to appear to be doing to keep people calm. What I really need to do is shift gears, and do some studio work. Inevitably, some are upset, others are happy. Oh well. This quarter has been difficult. It is principally rooted in production. I need to have a lot of faith in the decisions of yesterday. These need to be carried out. I cannot afford to make too many brash decisions or changes on the fly. The tank is low. Empty. This feeling is mostly inexplicable. Adding to this struggle, women. A woman. It will not last. It cannot last. What is the point in stringing this thing along? I am not excited by the company anymore. |
