Yesterday, we pulled into the form work milled Tuesday. The pulls sucked. Well, no. The pulls were actually good considering the lack of any precision in the forms. That stems from a malfunction on my behalf to adjust ideal topologies to achievable topologies. No more, this inability to bridge digital and analogue mediums will not persist. It is not an inability. More of a purposeful naivety. Obviously, I know what will work. Often, I know what will not work. What is unclear is the size of the zone between the two. That murky area is something I would like to define. Therefore, the difference between failure and success will always be minimal. Unfortunately, success is often judged based on the opposite of failure when in actuality, the two can exist simultaneously. So, we were able to pull together as a team and produce some graphics and textual information that will be pertinent to the progression of this project, which I am beginning to feel will be something great in December.
