Fellas; Okay, so this evening I tried to explore some of the ideas we have brought up in past discussions but had not visualized (at least at a digital scale). Namely, alternating location and size of bifurcation moments, and changing one end detail from the manifold to a star shape. So, roughly, here is a screen shot and digital model of those "sketches". Scratch that, the digital model is too big to email. I have dropped it into Aaron's folder: 200611113compo.3dm. Anyway, wanted to see what these would look like before we get consumed with the never ending excitement of milling, vacuum forming, lighting installation and painting. Speaking of lighting, the ziggy stardust end could produce some interesting lighting effects using the same general scheme. Right, I am thirsty. Rock and roll. Jtravis Fellas; Yes, I milled another test to be pulled. Scott: The first go did not work, barely.<continued> |
