Awoke early. Finished Speaks' Midterm essays. Showered. Hopped on motorcycle. Little did I know I was headed straight for one hell of an intense work session. To say things were not working quite as planned with the flower project, would be a slight understatement. Not slight. Milled form at 2 in the morning, so it could be vacuum formed six times, painted, and inserted into model by 930a deadline. That was just the beginning. Rock and roll to the highest degree. Finally, made it into presentation. For the first time, saw this thing lit up without background lights and realized, this project looks really rich. It was obviously made to be seen in the dark. The lights made the paint gleam and really highlighted many of the prominent features. However, with the lights on, it was a freaking disaster -aesthetically. The knowledge gained from the project was indeed profound, and will be put to the test in the next couple of weeks. We will see.
