Milling? No. The thanksgiving episode is coming to a close. We had reserved the mill for several time blocks today because no one else was doing so and we need to begin milling the final molds. However, what we did not anticipate was how many and how long the changes to the digital model were going to take. Typical. I started to get a little worried when it came to Aaron's light pockets. The model was not looking very pretty. We decided to do a test mill of these pieces, and realized it is going to work out. The light detail changed a little bit. Now, it has to pinch around the light, and then balloon on the outer most layers of the laminations. I think this will create an interesting lighting effect. It should capture the light and create more of a glow. We will see.
