Arrived in the afternoon to find some milled form work! Now we are in business. The middle pieces were milled and ready. I immediately went to work on getting some pulls. Styrene in place successfully. No problem. There were some deep pieces to yank down. But, we got some pieces and the game continues. That small amount of luck did not extend to the outer pieces. The fins were too thin. When the styrene was pulled, each fin collapsed. The fins will have to be remodeled, then re-milled. Basically, that is about fifty dollars and six hours wasted. Welcome to the world of trial and error, high stakes. Still, I got some pieces out of the failed mold. Tomorrow, we can put this thing together and see how it performs at the macro scale.
