What better time to completely change a design than the night before the presentation? So, we worked all week on toward one project, then as the discussions began piling on themselves, we realized: shit, this thing is not going to work. How quickly can an alternate set of presentation drawings be produced? Evidentially, it does not take too long. The other perpetual distraction was also present. I began transference to three dimensions, and for some reason, it is not clicking yet. It may. I know I spent way too much time working on one piece, when the design is a confluence of pieces. The effort should be in sketching all the pieces, then tweaking them as the design progresses. Tomorrow is another day. |
