An intent
gaze into the context of the area will reveal.
Muncie
seems to be a bewildering muddle of individualistic ideas either never
entirely realized, or never entirely conceived. The structures bypass
contending with populace, and instead labor toward absolute functionality,
which manifests each diversely. The robust constrain for function in its
unadulterated state has instigated the flouting of the river.
In the
purest methodology of its rationale, the container should be the foremost
building in Muncie to acknowledge the White River’s existence, and
should scrutinize the river’s drive as it pierces through the often-stagnant
city. Conversely, in order to be truly contextual from an historical and
present day account, the river should be thoroughly, and preposterously
disregarded. Thus, the design involves meshing these two opposing ideologies
capably into a singular, cohesive container. |
